Remote Sales Development Representative

Momentum Solar
•$60,000 - $80,000•Remote

About The Position

Momentum Solar is seeking motivated, resilient Sales Development Representatives to join its remote Inside Sales team. The role makes outbound calls to residential homeowners to generate interest in solar energy and schedule qualified appointments for field representatives. This is a high-volume cold-prospecting position, not an inbound customer service role. Representatives spend most of the workday at a computer wearing a headset and speaking with homeowners who may not expect the call. Success requires persistence, emotional resilience, coachability, professionalism, and sustained productivity. New representatives complete a structured two-week paid virtual training program. The first week covers Momentum Solar and residential solar fundamentals, the SDR sales process, script execution, qualification, objection handling, systems, and appointment-setting techniques. The second week applies those skills through live outbound calling, role-play, call reviews, coaching, quality-assurance feedback, pitch execution, and performance evaluation. Team placement is earned and is not guaranteed by completing training; representatives must demonstrate the knowledge, sales execution, activity, appointment production, quality, attendance, communication, professionalism, and coachability required for placement. The position offers $18 per hour plus uncapped commission. The posting estimates approximately $60,000 in annual earnings for an average-performing representative and approximately $80,000 or more for top performers; earnings are not guaranteed and vary based on individual performance and commission eligibility. The role is remote and applicants must live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, or Texas. Applicants need reliable technology and a quiet, professional workspace suitable for remote sales work.
