About the position
The Sales Development Associate role within our Global Inbound Sales Development team is a key position at Algolia, offering an opportunity to kick start your sales career. As a Sales Development Associate, you will support outbound sales teams by conducting account research, contact sourcing, and providing generic support in developing our Go-To-Market strategy. This 6-month internship provides intensive sales training and the potential to apply for a Sales Development position in the future. Your responsibilities will include updating data for accounts and contacts, researching accounts, contact sourcing, triggering conversations, conducting competitor analysis, and participating in data hygiene projects. We are looking for recent graduates who are independent, self-motivated, and interested in learning and being coached to start a sales career with Algolia.
Responsibilities
- Updating data for accounts and contacts to ensure data accuracy
- Researching accounts to find the best prospects for Algolia
- Sourcing contacts and determining the best way to communicate with them
- Identifying intent signals from prospects and translating them into actionable steps for the sales team
- Conducting competitor analysis and understanding prospects' current tech environment
- Participating in data hygiene projects in collaboration with the Sales Operations team
- Being a recent graduate
- Working independently and self-motivated
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

- Having a preference for candidates with experience in a similar stage and beyond

Requirements
