Sales Design Consultant
About The Position
Closets by Design is hiring designers/sales representatives who are creative, have good communication skills, and enjoy helping people organize their homes. This role offers the flexibility of working from home with pre-set appointments with clients close to your home. Complete sales and design training will be provided, making prior experience unnecessary. The position offers a direct track to become a Senior Sales Designer with increased pay and bonuses, and a hybrid remote setup with a flexible schedule. You will receive 16 weeks of paid sales training and ongoing mentorship, with pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients. Health and retirement benefits are offered (though not at all locations). There is no cold calling required, and you will work close to home. An open-door policy with your Sales Manager is in place. Compensation is commission-based following paid training, and includes benefits.
Requirements
- No degree, certification, or sales experience is needed.
- We are looking for coachable candidates.
- Growth mindset with willingness to complete 16-week paid sales training.
- Reliable access to Motor Vehicle, with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities
- Begin the sales route with appointments (all leads and marketing materials are provided).
- Build rapport with the customer to understand their organizational needs.
- Walk through the home to assess opportunities.
- Educate customers on our products and services.
- Follow our Sales Training and use communication skills to help residential customers with their home organizational needs.
