About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring designers and sales representatives to help customers organize their homes. The role combines sales, customer service, and design, with pre-set appointments and leads provided. Consultants meet residential customers, understand their organizational needs, assess opportunities in their homes, and explain the company’s products and services. The position offers flexibility to work from home and close to home, with an open and flexible schedule. No prior sales or design experience is necessary; the company provides 16 weeks of paid sales training and ongoing mentorship, with a path to becoming a Senior Sales Designer.

Requirements

No degree, certification, or sales experience is required.
Must be coachable and have a growth mindset.
Must be willing to complete 16-week paid sales training.
Must have reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Attend pre-set appointments with new and repeat clients using provided leads and marketing materials.
Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
Educate customers on the company’s products and services.
Follow the sales training process and use communication skills to help residential customers with home organizational needs.
