About The Position

Closets by Design is hiring designers and sales representatives to help residential customers organize their homes. The role involves meeting with customers at pre-set appointments, understanding their organizational needs, assessing opportunities in their homes, and educating them about the company’s products and services. Leads and marketing materials are provided, and there is no cold calling. The position offers a hybrid remote arrangement with the flexibility to work from home and appointments close to home. No prior sales experience is necessary; the company provides 12 weeks of sales and design training and ongoing mentorship, with a direct path to becoming a Certified/Senior Sales Designer and receiving a pay and bonus increase.

Requirements

No degree, certification, or sales experience is needed.
Must be coachable and have a growth mindset.
Willingness to complete 12-week sales training.
Reliable access to a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Fully open availability Monday through Friday and two Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

Attend pre-set appointments with prospective and repeat clients.
Build rapport with customers and understand their organizational needs.
Walk through customers’ homes to assess opportunities.
Educate customers on the company’s products and services.
Follow the sales training process and use communication skills to assist residential customers with home organization needs.
