About The Position

Coggin Honda DeLand is part of Asbury Automotive Group, a Fortune 500 automotive retailer focused on guest-centric service and an inclusive, supportive workplace. The Sales Consultant responds to customers who inquire about advertised vehicles online by phone and email, and assists customers who visit the dealership in person from the initial buying process through the final sale. The role uses the Asbury selling process to identify customer needs and deliver a positive vehicle-buying experience.

Requirements

• Experience utilizing and maintaining a customer relations management database.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Contact and communicate with customers to identify needs using the Asbury selling process.
• Build rapport with customers, develop a referral base, and establish a customer network.
• Respond to internet leads within the store's required time and email product information with pricing.
• Answer sales phone calls and set customer appointments.
• Confirm appointments.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on inquiries, after sales, and for repeat business.
• Conduct test drives and vehicle walk-arounds with customers.
• Guide customers through the buying process from start to finish.
• Maintain professional business attire and appearance.
