About The Position

The Quick Lube Automotive Technician is an entry-level technician responsible for basic maintenance of customer vehicles. This hourly-paid position involves working repetitively on complex tasks as part of a team, with a focus on providing a positive customer experience. Technicians perform routine maintenance and inspections, use a multi-point inspection form, participate in training, and keep their automotive technology knowledge current. They must take care to return vehicles in the same condition or better than when received.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive technical school certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience is highly preferred.
• Apprenticeship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Accurately use the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Complete product and technical training assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when received.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and practices.
