About The Position

The Service Greeter is the initial point of contact for customers arriving at the dealership for service. The role welcomes customers and assists them within the service department, helping create a positive guest experience and supporting the service team. The Service Greeter works with dealership staff to keep scheduled appointments on track and moves vehicles through the service lane and to the shop, then returns completed vehicles to the service lane for customers.

Requirements

• Have a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Enjoy interacting with customers.
• Be able to follow manufacturer-recommended procedures.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least eighteen years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or military equivalent experience.
• Pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and direct them to the appropriate dealership representative or waiting area.
• Communicate customers’ arrival and needs to appropriate dealership staff.
• Work with the service department to keep scheduled appointments on track.
• Move vehicles through the service lane to the shop.
• Bring vehicles back to the service lane for customers when work has been completed.
