About The Position

The Service Greeter is the dealership’s initial point of contact for arriving service customers. The role welcomes customers, helps them navigate the service department, and supports the team in providing a positive customer experience. The Service Greeter also helps keep scheduled service appointments on track by coordinating with dealership staff and moving vehicles between the service lane and the shop.

Requirements

• Have a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Enjoy interacting with customers.
• Be able to follow manufacturer-recommended procedures.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or military-equivalent experience.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving customers and direct them to the appropriate dealership representative or waiting area.
• Communicate customers’ arrivals and needs to the appropriate dealership staff.
• Work with the service department to keep scheduled appointments on track.
• Move vehicles through the service lane to the shop.
• Bring vehicles back to the service lane for customers when work is complete.
