About The Position

The Lube Technician performs quick service and routine maintenance to help keep customer vehicles in optimal condition. The role includes oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-offs, tire inspections and basic vehicle-component checks. The technician also maintains a clean and safe work area, ensures equipment is in proper working order, and follows dealership safety policies.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as an Express Technician, Lube Technician, or technician helper in an automobile or quick service shop.
Must have a personal set of tools, including socket sets, hand tools, and impact tools.
Basic automotive repair and maintenance knowledge.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and verification of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs for customer vehicles.
Inspect tires, patch tires, and check air pressure.
Inspect and replace air and cabin filters as needed.
Ensure brake, transmission, coolant, and other vehicle fluids are at proper levels.
Perform quick inspections of belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with dealership and industry standards.
Ensure equipment is in proper working order, especially vehicle lifts.
Follow company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report accidents to a manager or supervisor.
