About The Position

The Lube Technician performs quick service and routine maintenance to help ensure customer vehicles are in optimal condition. The role includes common maintenance tasks, basic vehicle inspections, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and keeping equipment in proper working order. The position is full-time, with Sundays always off and Saturday availability required. Compensation is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as an Express Technician, Lube Technician, or technician helper in an automobile or quick service shop.
Must have a personal set of tools, including socket sets, hand tools, and impact tools.
Basic automotive repair and maintenance knowledge.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and credit report, and provide a valid driver's license.
Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs on customer vehicles.
Inspect tires, patch tires, and check air pressure.
Inspect and replace air and cabin filters as needed.
Ensure brake, transmission, coolant, and other vehicle fluids are at proper levels.
Perform quick inspections of belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with dealership and industry standards.
Ensure equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
Follow company safety policies and procedures and immediately report accidents to a manager or supervisor.
