About The Position

The Sales Consultant at Coggin Honda DeLand responds to customers who inquire about advertised vehicles online by phone and email, and assists customers who visit the dealership in person. The role guides customers through the buying process from initial contact through the final sale, using the Asbury selling process to identify customer needs and deliver a positive car-buying experience. The consultant also builds customer relationships and a referral network, follows up with customers, and helps establish repeat business.

• Prior automotive sales or retail experience, customer service, call center, or business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Contact and communicate with customers to identify their needs using the Asbury selling process.
• Build rapport with customers and develop a network of referrals.
• Respond to internet leads within the store’s required timeframe and email vehicle information and pricing.
• Answer sales phone calls and set customer appointments.
• Confirm appointments.
• Make outbound follow-up calls regarding customer inquiries, post-sale follow-up, and repeat business.
• Conduct test drives and vehicle walk-arounds with customers.
• Work with customers throughout the buying process, from start to finish.
