About The Position

John Jones Auto Group is seeking a Sales Consultant to join its sales team. The role provides exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and a positive dealership experience. It focuses on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and helping customers select the right vehicle while upholding the dealership’s professional standards. Training is provided, and previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.

Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the dealership.
Engage customers to understand their needs, preferences, and buying motivations.
Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles, highlighting their features, benefits, and value.
Conduct product presentations and vehicle walk-arounds.
Assist customers with test drives while following dealership safety protocols.
Provide accurate information about pricing, financing options, warranties, and dealership programs.
Maintain knowledge of current inventory, incoming units, promotions, and manufacturer incentives.
Prepare and present purchase proposals clearly and transparently.
Work with Sales Managers and the Finance team to ensure smooth deal processing.
Follow up with prospective and existing customers by phone, email, and CRM tools.
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance expectations.
Uphold John Jones Auto Group’s customer service standards and represent the dealership professionally.
Stay informed about automotive trends, product updates, and industry changes.
