About The Position

Meade Lexus of Southfield is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant with previous automotive experience. The role focuses on helping customers select vehicles through consultative selling, developing lasting customer relationships, building product knowledge, and supporting referral business. The Sales Consultant reports to the Sales Manager.

Requirements

• Previous automotive experience is required.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Nurture relationships with customers to build a lasting clientele.
• Use consultative selling skills to help customers select vehicles by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Continuously develop product and sales knowledge, including vehicle offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.
• Provide professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
• Follow up with buyers to support successful referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and succeed in sales situations.
• Report objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses to the Sales Manager.
• Bring a positive attitude to work each day.
