About The Position

The Sales Associate provides friendly, genuine, and professional customer service, putting customers first and making shopping engaging and interactive. The role involves sharing product knowledge in person and by phone, helping customers select gifts, cards, and wrapping, and creating neat, tidy, vibrant displays. Associates demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for the company’s products and people while supporting store services and helping customers enjoy their visits.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment by engaging customers with friendly, genuine service and meeting their needs.
Ask open-ended questions and use product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations while actively selling.
Support visual merchandising and replenishment standards to maintain a neat, tidy, shoppable, and inviting store.
Promote key campaigns and services, including new item launches, promotions, membership, and ship-to-home.
Use training and communication tools, such as Cognition, Paper reSource, and InsidePS, to continuously learn about products and services and share that knowledge with customers.
Protect company assets by following inventory and loss prevention standards and completing inventories and related initiatives properly.
Work on the selling floor, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.
