About The Position

The Sales Associate provides friendly, genuine, and professional customer service, putting customers first and making shopping engaging and interactive. The role includes sharing product knowledge in person and over the phone, helping customers select gifts, cards, and gift wrap, and creating enticing displays. Associates support store services and product sales while helping customers enjoy their visits.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment and engage with customers through friendly, genuine service that meets their needs.
Ask open-ended questions, use product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations, and actively sell.
Support visual merchandising and replenishment standards, maintaining a neat, tidy, shoppable, and inviting store presentation.
Promote and support key campaigns and services, including new item launches, promotions, membership, and ship-to-home.
Use training and communication tools to continually learn about products and services and share that knowledge to improve customers’ store experiences.
Protect company assets by following inventory and loss-prevention standards and properly completing inventories and initiatives.
Work on the selling floor, involving prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.
Accept responsibility and complete assignments correctly and carefully.
Support company goals and initiatives and work as a team player.
