About The Position

The Sales Associate provides friendly, genuine, and professional customer service, prioritizing customers and making their shopping experience engaging and interactive. The role involves sharing product knowledge in person and over the phone, helping customers select gifts, cards, and gift wrap, and creating neat, tidy, and vibrant displays. Sales Associates support store services and initiatives while demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm for the company’s products and people.

The position works on the selling floor and involves physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing. The job is temporary.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers through friendly and genuine service and meeting their needs.
• Ask open-ended questions, use product knowledge to make thoughtful recommendations, and actively sell.
• Support visual merchandising and replenishment standards to maintain a neat, tidy, shoppable, and inviting store.
• Promote campaigns and services, including new item launches, promotions, membership, and ship-to-home.
• Use training and communication tools to continuously learn about products and services and share that knowledge with customers.
• Protect company assets by following inventory and loss prevention standards and properly completing inventories and initiatives.
• Work on the selling floor, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.
