About The Position

The Sales Associate delivers an outstanding sales and service experience to guests and members. The role builds strong relationships, promotes studio memberships and retail products, and helps create a welcoming, engaging environment. Sales Associates contribute to guest conversions, member retention, and a community aligned with SWTHZ’s mission. The position is based at the SWTHZ location at 12895 Paseo Village Way, San Diego, CA 92130.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales or customer service, focused on relationship-based selling and value-building.
• Reliable means of mobility for travel to the studio location.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and jumping, and to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents.
• Must be comfortable administering CPR/AED protocols.

Nice To Haves

• Current AED/First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use a relationship-based sales model with each introductory guest and explain how SWTHZ services can meet their needs and goals.
• Tour potential members through the studio and describe relevant facilities, services, and amenities.
• Clearly communicate membership options and enroll guests using company sales techniques and protocols.
• Onboard new members and assist with retention activities to support club profitability.
• Schedule appointments and follow up with leads and potential business opportunities.
• Communicate and promote marketing campaigns and special offers to leads and existing members.
• Manage leads using company software and carry out daily outreach to maximize conversion.
• Partner with the Studio Manager to provide a member-centric experience.
• Provide a friendly check-in process and address member inquiries professionally and thoughtfully.
• Build relationships with members and serve as a resource for their questions and concerns.
• Clean and sanitize suites between sessions and maintain the cleanliness of studio common areas and equipment according to SWTHZ standards.
