About The Position

Van Cleef & Arpels is seeking a Sales Associate for its Westchester location. The role focuses on achieving sales goals, balancing daily business with High Jewelry sales, and developing a network of loyal clients in a fast-paced luxury environment. The Sales Associate reports to the Boutique Director and provides exceptional service while building long-lasting client relationships.

The position also involves generating new business through community social functions, inviting current and prospective clients to boutique events, and using curated clienteling tools. The Sales Associate oversees CRM initiatives, helps maintain the boutique’s aesthetic presentation, and may travel as required. The role offers training on the Maison’s history, know-how, and creations, with career development supported by the company.

Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment in the USA. Salary is negotiated based on skills and prior work experience; the listed hourly rate is $24.04, and the role is commission eligible.

Requirements

• Strong ability to develop long-lasting client relationships in a fast-paced luxury environment.
• Natural curiosity about people and an inherent need to provide excellent service.
• Effective in-person and written communication skills.
• Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

• A bachelor’s degree or jewelry certification with 7 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by providing exceptional service.
• Balance daily business and High Jewelry sales while developing a network of loyal clients.
• Attend social functions within the community to generate new business.
• Invite current and prospective clients to in-boutique events and reach out through curated clienteling tools.
• Oversee CRM initiatives, including client data capture and accuracy, communication about novelties and events, gifting campaigns, and clientele reporting.
• Assist with display setup each morning and display breakdown in the evening, and maintain the boutique’s aesthetic quality.
• Travel as required.
