About The Position

The Sales Associate at the Lee Wrangler Clearance Center supports customers and store performance by delivering service that meets company retail standards. The associate engages customers to understand their interests and needs, recommends products, assists in the fitting room, shares product information, and promotes the rewards program. The role also includes maintaining store presentation, processing transactions, assisting with assigned opening and closing procedures, and following company policies and safety practices. The position requires at least 12 hours of availability per week, including one weekend day, and a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be available to work at least 12 hours per week, including one weekend day; additional availability is a plus.
Must be able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Ability to operate office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts, walk to assist customers and retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
Ability to maneuver or lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push or pull full merchandise racks for restocking.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Ability to perform occasional manual labor to assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
Vision sufficient to read labels accurately, assist customers, and perform detail-oriented tasks.
Ability to use fine manipulation and grasp items to sort and organize clothing, place items on hangers, fold clothing, and organize merchandise by color and size.

Responsibilities

Deliver customer service that meets company retail standards and creates an in-store experience aligned with company expectations.
Initiate conversations with customers, build relationships, identify interests, and suggest appropriate products.
Assist customers in the fitting room and recommend products suited to their needs and preferences through suggestive selling.
Promote the rewards program and meet weekly loyalty sign-up goals.
Learn about products and trends and provide information and advice about product performance, features, and specifications.
Meet personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with assigned daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Process transactions accurately, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
Follow company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
Respond quickly to customer or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
Participate in Loss Prevention Audits and follow loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
Communicate best practices and ideas and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and learning-oriented environment.
Take initiative, work ahead, seek guidance when appropriate, and adapt to manager direction to support store goals.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule that meets business needs.
Use store equipment and technology; move merchandise and recover, restock, and maintain the store; and occasionally assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
