About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends, while providing an exceptional customer experience. The role executes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team and contributes positively to the store team.

The associate delivers engaging and authentic customer service, focuses on full-price selling while remaining aware of product value and promotions, and handles customer situations in accordance with company policies. The position supports visual standards, store organization and cleanliness, safety, loss prevention, and company policies. It also supports sales and operational goals, participates in store contests and events, and executes digital sales strategies such as ship-from-store and BOPIS. The associate represents the PacSun brand, maintains the company fashion image, and strives to improve individual performance as a productive team member.

Requirements

• Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
• Ability to work 20–40 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
• Ability to talk or hear regularly; sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel items, reach, twist, and squat.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
• Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.
• Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

• Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
• Participate in company and store contests and events.
• Stay current on financial goals and priorities and support leadership in achieving sales and operational goals.
• Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS.
• Represent the PacSun brand through passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
