About The Position

Kontoor Brands is hiring a temporary, part-time Sales Associate to support the Canutillo, Texas store. The role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience, recommending products, building customer relationships and loyalty, meeting sales targets, and maintaining store presentation and operations. The position requires at least 12 hours of availability per week, including one weekend day, and a flexible schedule to meet business needs. The Sales Associate also supports store opening and closing procedures as assigned, processes transactions, handles cash, follows company policies, and helps maintain a safe and organized store. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be available to work at least 12 hours per week, including one weekend day; additional availability is a plus.
Must be able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Ability to operate a cash register, computers, phones, scanners, and other office equipment and technology.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
Ability to lift or maneuver 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push and pull full racks of merchandise.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Ability to perform occasional manual labor to assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
Vision sufficient to read labels, assist customers, and perform detail-oriented tasks.
Ability to use fine manipulation and grasping to sort and organize clothing, place garments on hangers, fold items, and organize merchandise by color and size.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service that meets retail standards and company expectations.
Initiate conversations with customers, build relationships, learn their interests, and suggest suitable products.
Assist customers in the fitting room and provide information and advice about product performance, features, and specifications.
Use suggestive selling to recommend products aligned with customer needs and encourage purchases.
Promote the rewards program, meet weekly loyalty sign-up goals, and build brand loyalty.
Learn about new products and trends to better engage customers.
Meet personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with daily store operations, including assigned opening and closing procedures.
Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
Follow company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
Respond quickly to customer or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
Participate in loss-prevention audits and follow loss-prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule that meets business needs.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Use office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
Move throughout the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
Lift and carry merchandise, push or pull full racks, and help assemble displays or rearrange store layouts as needed.
Reach, stretch, bend, stoop, crouch, and use fine hand manipulation to retrieve, restock, sort, organize, and fold clothing.
