About The Position

Mizzen+Main is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to serve as a brand ambassador and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. The role involves learning and representing the company’s products, values, and brand story; providing personalized, consultative customer service; processing transactions; and maintaining the sales floor and inventory. The associate also supports store operations and events, works toward sales goals, and helps build the customer base through networking, community outreach, and client follow-up.

Requirements

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Dependability and punctuality, with the ability to follow direction and take initiative.
Ability to bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry, and move at least 40 pounds.
Comfort climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods.

Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of Mizzen+Main products, values, and brand story, representing the brand professionally and enthusiastically.
Engage customers through personalized, consultative sales, including product selection, product information, and checkout.
Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor through merchandising, folding, hanging, and inventory replenishment.
Perform store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stockroom organization, replenishment, and daily upkeep.
Stay informed about store and online promotions, events, and product launches and share relevant information with customers.
Support and help execute in-store events in accordance with brand expectations and presentation standards.
Contribute to store sales goals and a positive, team-oriented environment.
Follow company policies and procedures, including operational and safety guidelines.
Build the customer base through networking, community outreach, and consistent client follow-up.
