About The Position

The Part Time Sales Associate supports sales performance, delivers an exceptional customer experience, and executes day-to-day store operations. The role follows customer engagement strategies and maintains merchandising standards that support a positive in-store experience. The associate is expected to uphold company standards, build customer relationships, recommend products, promote the rewards program, achieve sales goals, and contribute to store performance. The position also supports store operations, visual merchandising, safety, and loss prevention. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be available to work at least 12 hours per week, including one weekend day; additional availability is a plus.
Must arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Ability to operate office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
Ability to walk and move to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
Ability to maneuver and/or lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push and pull full racks of merchandise.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain cleanliness.
Ability to perform occasional manual labor assembling displays and/or rearranging the store layout.
Vision sufficient to read labels accurately, assist customers, and perform detail-oriented tasks.
Ability to use fine manipulation and grasp items to sort and organize clothing, place items on hangers, fold, and organize merchandise by color and size.

Responsibilities

Uphold high retail standards and provide an in-store experience aligned with company standards.
Initiate conversations with customers, learn their interests, and identify products to suggest.
Assist customers in the fitting room.
Recommend products suited to customers’ needs and preferences through suggestive selling and encourage purchases.
Promote the rewards program, build brand loyalty, and achieve weekly loyalty sign-up goals.
Learn about new products and trends to engage customers effectively.
Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Provide information and advice on product performance, features, and specifications.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with daily store operations, including assigned opening and closing procedures, transaction processing, cash handling, and maintaining point-of-sale integrity.
Follow company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
Respond quickly to customer or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
Participate in loss prevention audits and follow loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule that meets business needs.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Operate office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
Move merchandise, recover and restock the store, push or pull full merchandise racks, and help assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
Use physical and manual abilities to retrieve, organize, and handle merchandise and maintain store cleanliness.
