About The Position

Kontoor Brands is hiring a part-time, temporary Sales Associate to support sales performance, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and carry out daily store operations. The associate follows customer-engagement strategies and maintains merchandising standards to create a positive in-store experience. The role requires at least 12 hours of availability per week, including one weekend day, and a flexible schedule to meet business needs. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Ability to operate cash registers, computers, phones, scanners, and other office equipment or technology.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store during scheduled shifts.
Ability to lift or maneuver 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to push or pull full racks of merchandise.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Ability to perform occasional manual labor assembling displays or rearranging the store layout.
Vision sufficient to read labels accurately and perform detail-oriented tasks.
Ability to use fine manipulation and grasping to sort and organize clothing, place items on hangers, and fold merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service that meets company retail standards and supports the intended in-store experience.
Initiate conversations with customers, build relationships, identify their interests, and suggest relevant products.
Assist customers in the fitting room and recommend products aligned with their needs and preferences.
Promote the rewards program, meet weekly loyalty sign-up goals, and build brand loyalty.
Learn about products and trends and provide information and advice about product performance, features, and specifications.
Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Assist with assigned opening and closing procedures, process transactions accurately, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
Follow company and store policies, processes, and procedures.
Respond quickly to customer or employee injuries and report them immediately to the manager on duty.
Participate in loss-prevention audits and follow loss-prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule that meets business needs.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and team members.
Operate store office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
Move throughout the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store; restock merchandise and push or pull full racks.
Reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain cleanliness.
Occasionally assemble displays or rearrange the store layout.
Read labels accurately and use attention to detail when assisting customers and performing tasks.
