About The Position

Talbots is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its Cool Springs Galleria Mall store. The Sales Associate provides an exceptional customer service experience, promotes products, and builds relationships with customers and the Talbots brand. The role supports store business and the management team, shares fashion and product knowledge to help customers create outfits, and contributes to sales and service goals. Associates also complete operational projects such as filling orders, replenishment, and recovery. The position requires availability for 15 to 20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes products and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Support service enhancers, including active use of Concierge, to build strong relationships.
• Serve multiple customers at a time, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and learn about new arrivals, including product fit, color, and fashion.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits and suggest items that meet customers’ needs.
• Participate in learning opportunities and accept direction, coaching, and feedback to maximize performance.
• Achieve sales and service metrics, including client outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Complete assigned projects, including operational tasks such as filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
