About The Position

Talbots is hiring a part-time Client Specialist for its Cool Springs Galleria store. The role focuses on creating exceptional customer experiences, building enduring relationships with customers and the community, developing a strong clientele, and achieving sales and service goals. The Client Specialist represents the Talbots brand and contributes to a collaborative, inclusive store culture. The position requires open availability for 20–29 hours per week and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Open availability for 20–29 hours per week.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of integrity.
Strong planning and organizational skills, including proactively contacting clientele in a relevant, timely, and meaningful way.
Professional, assertive, and friendly, with the ability to make decisions independently.
Technological aptitude to navigate POS, computer, iPad, and handheld systems.
Ability to climb ladders, move around regularly, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to bend, reach, and stretch for products, and to lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring internal and external relationships.
Use service enhancers, including Concierge, to build strong customer relationships.
Achieve sales and service metrics in areas including clientelling and outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet customer and business needs.
Understand customer needs and wants through intentional conversation.
Share current products and fashion trends to help customers build outfits, feel inspired, and develop trust.
Participate in community and store activities and events that promote the Talbots brand.
Represent the brand image professionally.
