About The Position

The part-time Sales Associate II (Sales Lead) supports daily store business, customer engagement, store operations, and merchandising standards. As a member of the store leadership team, this position helps ensure a high level of customer engagement and supports a positive work environment that promotes customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability. The role follows instructions and established guidelines from the Store Manager and provides sales- and performance-related feedback to the Store Manager. It is a key-carrying position and assumes responsibility for the store when another manager is absent. Opening and closing duties may be included based on business needs. The Sales Associate II supports sales and supervision, delivers brand-specific customer service, monitors operations and safety, maintains visual merchandising standards, communicates associate concerns, and contributes to an inclusive and sustainable store culture. The position may serve as Manager on Duty when the only member of management in the store.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Proven ability to multitask.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Ability to stand during scheduled shifts for up to 8 hours.
Ability to walk and move around the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, and recover the store.
Ability to regularly maneuver and/or lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull full racks of merchandise.
Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
Ability to perform occasional manual labor to assemble displays and/or rearrange the store layout.
Vision to read labels accurately, assist customers, and perform detail-oriented tasks.
Fine manipulation and grasping ability to sort and organize clothing, including placing items on hangers, folding, and organizing by color and size.

Responsibilities

Follow the direction of the store management team to maximize sales and achieve store sales goals.
Lead customer engagement on the sales floor and support a productive environment.
Act as Manager on Duty when the only member of management in the store.
Model brand-specific service standards and promptly address customer concerns when acting as Manager on Duty.
Wear and promote Lee and Wrangler brands and products.
Greet customers, engage them with open-ended questions, assist them in fitting rooms, and recommend products suited to their needs.
Monitor adherence to company and store policies, processes, and procedures, and report concerns to the Store Manager.
Delegate tasks to associates as needed to maintain operational excellence.
Respond promptly to customer and associate injuries and coordinate with the Store Manager and Human Resources.
Maintain the store's visual merchandising standards.
Communicate associate concerns to the Store Manager and support the Open-Door Policy.
