About The Position

The part-time Keyholder supports the store’s daily business, customer engagement, operations, and merchandising standards. As a member of the store leadership team, the Keyholder helps ensure high-quality customer engagement and supports a positive work environment that promotes customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability. The role follows instructions and established guidelines from the Store Manager, provides sales and performance feedback to the Store Manager, and may take responsibility for the store when another manager is absent. It is a key-carrying role that includes some opening and closing duties based on business needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to multitask.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift or maneuver up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and to push or pull full merchandise racks.
• Ability to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, and crouch to retrieve items, restock, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Vision to read labels accurately, assist customers, and perform detail-oriented tasks.
• Ability to use fine motor manipulation and grasp to sort and organize clothing, including hanging, folding, and arranging by color or size.

Responsibilities

• Follow the store management team’s direction to maximize sales and achieve store sales goals.
• Lead customer engagement on the sales floor and promote productivity.
• Act as manager on duty when the Keyholder is the only member of management in the store.
• Model brand-specific service standards and respond promptly to customer concerns when acting as Manager on Duty.
• Wear and promote Lee and Wrangler products; greet customers, ask open-ended questions, assist in fitting rooms, and recommend suitable products.
• Monitor compliance with company and store policies, processes, and procedures, and report concerns to the Store Manager.
• Delegate tasks to associates as needed to maintain operational excellence.
• Respond promptly to customer and associate injuries and coordinate with the Store Manager and Human Resources.
• Maintain the store’s visual merchandising standards.
• Communicate associate concerns to the Store Manager and support the Open-Door Policy.
• Model respectful behavior and uphold Kontoor Brands’ integrity and values.
• Encourage participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices and building on others’ ideas.
• Look for ways to make the store more sustainable and recognize its environmental impact.
• Follow management direction and support the company’s purpose, mission, and values.
• Operate office equipment and technology, including cash registers, computers, phones, and scanners.
• Assist customers, retrieve merchandise, recover the store, restock merchandise, maintain cleanliness, and assemble displays or rearrange the store layout as needed.
