About The Position

Drybar is hiring a front desk team member, referred to as a Bartender, to create a welcoming and memorable guest experience in a fast-paced salon shop focused exclusively on blowouts. The role involves greeting and assisting guests, managing front desk operations, supporting stylists, and helping maintain an organized, clean shop. The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, multitasking, working collaboratively, and bringing a positive attitude to each shift. Weekend availability and reliability are required.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Outstanding communication skills and a genuine love for people.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stay positive and professional during busy periods.
• Comfortable standing and walking throughout a 6–8 hour shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability and dependable attendance.
• Dependable, coachable, hardworking, and excited to create positive guest experiences.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with POS systems.
• Salon, spa, beauty, or hospitality experience; technical salon knowledge can be taught.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out.
• Welcome guests with warmth, energy, and genuine hospitality.
• Build relationships that encourage first-time guests to become regulars.
• Manage reservations, answer phones, update guest profiles, and resolve scheduling challenges.
• Support stylists by helping the day run efficiently behind the scenes.
• Restock products, organize retail displays, maintain cleanliness, and complete daily side work.
• Work as a team player and help wherever needed.
