About The Position

Drybar is hiring a front desk team member, called a Bartender, to create a welcoming and memorable guest experience from arrival through checkout. The role combines hospitality, customer service, scheduling, and shop support in a fast-paced salon environment focused exclusively on blowouts. The Bartender helps guests feel welcome and cared for, supports stylists and smooth daily operations, and contributes to a positive team culture.

The position offers hourly pay plus membership commissions, paid training and ongoing development, flexible scheduling, complimentary blowouts, and discounts on products and styling tools. Weekend availability and reliability are required. The role involves standing and walking throughout 6–8 hour shifts.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Outstanding communication skills and a genuine love for people.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stay positive and professional during busy periods.
• Comfort standing and walking throughout a 6–8 hour shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Weekend availability and dependability.
• Be coachable, hardworking, and excited to create positive guest experiences.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with POS systems.
• Salon, spa, beauty, or hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out.
• Welcome every guest with warmth, energy, and genuine hospitality.
• Build relationships that encourage first-time guests to become regular Drybar customers.
• Manage reservations, answer phones, update guest profiles, and solve scheduling challenges.
• Support stylists and help the day flow efficiently behind the scenes.
• Restock products, organize retail displays, maintain cleanliness, and complete daily side work.
• Work as a team player and assist wherever needed.
