Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative
About The Position
Drybar is a blow-dry-only bar focused exclusively on blowouts. The Sales Associate / Customer Service Representative, also called a Drybar Bartender, provides excellent customer service and leads clients’ experiences from check-in through checkout. The role helps uphold Drybar standards and create a memorable client experience by fostering a positive, welcoming shop atmosphere. The associate also supports appointment and reservation operations, maintains client profiles and notes, and keeps the shop clean. The position requires a professional, brand-appropriate image and the ability to stand and/or walk during shifts lasting 6–8 hours.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, customer-service-centric environment, such as sales, retail, customer service, store, or salon associate work.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Promote a professional and brand-appropriate image.
- Frequently stand and/or walk for the duration of 6–8-hour shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with Point of Sale systems is strongly preferred.
- Previous salon or spa experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the client experience from check-in to checkout, uphold Drybar standards, and create a memorable experience.
- Set a positive shop atmosphere by approaching the day as if hosting a party.
- Troubleshoot reservation system issues, make changes to client profiles, optimize appointments to fit business needs, and check notes to ensure client needs are met.
- Maintain overall shop cleanliness by conducting walkthroughs behind the bar and keeping the front desk area clean.
