About The Position

The Sales and Project Manager will be assigned to a specific sales territory and will maintain current customer accounts as well as developing new accounts. The Sales and Project Manager will represent RMS Crane & Rigging for the purpose of obtaining orders for their commercial construction Crane and Rigging services. This role involves developing and penetrating new clients with the intent of establishing long-term relationships. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
  • Three to five years of sales experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress.
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of experience as crane operator preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all responsibilities in a safe, legal, professional, and ethical manner.
  • Execute the company services sales strategy mainly related to Specialty Rigging and Crane Services.
  • Achieve sales targets by identifying and closing business opportunities.
  • Maintain effective relationships with established customers.
  • Conduct meetings with customers and prospects and provide effective presentations and written proposals to prospective customers.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of manufacturer product lines as well as industry trends.
  • Establish a client base that will support a $2+MM / year revenue stream.
  • Manage the transition from sales to execution on all closed opportunities and ensure branch team and customer are aligned on the expectations of services sold.
  • Undertake any other duties as designated.
