About The Position

The Sales and Design Consultant delivers the California Closets Design Brand experience by building customer relationships, listening to customer needs, and collaborating on personalized, whole-home design solutions. The role measures, designs, sells, and delivers custom organizational solutions with a focus on exceptional service, integrity, and quality. Consultants commute to customers’ homes and use proprietary CAD software to create custom storage solutions. This is a full-time position of 40 or more hours per week and includes a 12-week paid training program. Consultants must work at least one showroom shift per month. The training class is scheduled to begin in early January.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and experience using laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
• Creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and a sense of craftsmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Interior design education, direct industry experience, and/or in-home sales experience.
• Previous experience with Salesforce, CAD, or design software.

Responsibilities

• Commute to customers’ homes and design custom storage solutions using proprietary CAD software.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by pursuing referrals and repeat business.
• Follow up with customers and collaborate with the installation team to ensure job completion.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and clients with varying levels of complexity in a dynamic environment.
