About The Position

The Sales and Design Consultant delivers personalized, whole-home design solutions and exceptional customer service as part of the California Closets Design Brand experience. The role involves listening to customers, measuring their homes, designing and selling custom organizational solutions, and supporting delivery of those solutions. Consultants travel to customers’ homes and use proprietary CAD software. This is a full-time position of 40 or more hours per week and includes a 12-week paid training program. The training class is scheduled to begin in early January. The role covers areas from Seattle to Bellevue and north, and requires a proven history of in-home consultation experience.

Requirements

• Proven history of in-home consultation experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and experience using laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices.
• Creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and a sense of craftsmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to reside in and cover areas from Seattle to Bellevue and north.

Nice To Haves

• Interior design education, direct industry experience, and/or in-home sales experience.
• Previous experience with Salesforce, CAD, or design software.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers’ homes and design custom storage solutions using the company’s proprietary CAD software.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets by pursuing referrals and repeat business.
• Follow up continuously with customers and collaborate with the installation team to ensure job completion.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and clients of varying complexity in a dynamic environment.
