About The Position
Fraserway RV is looking for a Parts Advisor to join their Abbotsford team. In this role, the Parts Advisor will help customers and service technicians find the right parts and accessories while ensuring inventory is organized, accurate, and readily available. The ideal candidate will have experience from automotive, RV, marine, powersports, heavy equipment, retail parts, warehouse operations, or a similar industry.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning technical products
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning inventory systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Availability to work Saturdays
Nice To Haves
- Experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, retail, automotive, RV, marine, powersports, construction, or industrial supply environments
Responsibilities
- Assisting retail customers with parts and accessory purchases
- Helping service technicians locate and obtain required parts quickly
- Processing parts orders, quotes, and backorders
- Tracking and following up on special orders and customer requests
- Receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and bin locations
- Performing inventory counts and cycle counts
- Coordinating shipping, receiving, and returns
- Merchandising parts and accessories displays
- Answering customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe parts department
