About The Position

HomeCentris is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Russian-speaking Caregiver to provide assistance with daily activities, personal care, and companionship to clients in their homes. The role involves supporting clients according to their individual care plans and preferences, communicating with clients and their families, and maintaining accurate records of care. The position is part-time/PRN and is listed for weekends in Chantilly, Virginia.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward clients.
Ability to pass background checks and physical requirements as required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in a similar role.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as needed, following client-specific care plans and instructions.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions while following food safety and sanitation standards.
Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, mopping, and tidying living spaces.
Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, recreational activities, and cultural interests.
Communicate with clients and their families about care needs, preferences, and instructions.
Escort clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities as needed, following safety protocols.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of care, including daily activity logs, medication administration records, and observations of changes in clients' health or behavior.
