About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care – Boston Northwest is hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers to support seniors and individuals who need assistance to remain comfortable and independent in their homes. The role provides personalized, non-medical assistance and companionship, while supporting clients’ independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Schedules may include days, evenings, overnights, Monday through Friday, and weekends, including every other weekend.

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to use a smartphone-based app.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications.
• Follow each client’s individualized personal care service plan.
• Communicate professionally with clients, family members, and team members.
• Support clients’ independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
