About The Position

Chapel View Apartments, a Cassia community, is hiring a part-time Caregiver in Hopkins, Minnesota. The Caregiver provides routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with guidelines and regulations, working alongside CNAs and nurses to support residents with activities of daily living. Care includes assistance with bathing, hair care, and medication administration while promoting residents’ dignity, independence, and well-being. The role is suited to a warm, reliable person who enjoys collaborative work and supporting older adults. Training is available for candidates without prior CNA, HHA, or PCA experience.

The position is a night shift from 10:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m., every Friday and every other weekend. Pay is $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience. Chapel View Apartments is a 56-unit assisted living facility located at 605 Minnetonka Mills Road, Hopkins, MN 55343. It is part of Cassia, a nonprofit, mission-driven senior care organization focused on compassionate, high-quality care for older adults.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, or PCA experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse and according to each resident’s individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed; report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed using a computerized charting system.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reactions, or appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist residents with personal care, including hair shampooing, showering or bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
