About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. The role drives a truck along an established route to service and sell to an existing customer base. It is a physical, fast-paced indoor/outdoor position involving delivery and pickup of uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service products.

The position includes a comprehensive 10-week training program, a solid base salary and commission potential after assignment to a route, and monthly or quarterly performance bonuses and incentives. Most representatives work a four-day workweek and do not work nights or weekends. Cintas also offers advancement, ongoing training, mentoring, and opportunities to develop business skills.

Requirements

• Meet all Department of Transportation requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
• Have an active driver's license before the first day of employment.
• Be at least 21 years of age before the first day of employment.
• Obtain DOT medical certification before the first day of employment.
• Provide documentation regarding previous employment before the first day of employment.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
• Be self-motivated and able to work in a teamwork-oriented environment to meet goals.
• Have a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customer key decision makers as the face of Cintas.
• Ensure quality standards and proactively resolve customer concerns.
• Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling products and services.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory.
• Work professionally and safely.
• Comply with driving and vehicle regulations.
• Deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service products along an established route.
