About The Position

Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. The role drives a truck along an established route to service and sell to existing customers. It is a physical, fast-paced indoor/outdoor position involving delivery and pickup of uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service products. A comprehensive 10-week training program is provided. The position offers a base salary and commission potential after assignment to a route, and most representatives work a four-day workweek with no nights or weekends. Monthly and quarterly performance bonuses and incentives are also available. Cintas provides opportunities for advancement, ongoing training, mentoring, and development of business skills.

Requirements

• Meet all Department of Transportation requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 pounds.
• Have an active driver's license before the first day of employment.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain a DOT medical certification before the first day of employment.
• Provide documentation regarding previous employment before the first day of employment.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
• Be self-motivated and able to work in a teamwork-based environment to meet goals.
• Have a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and key decision makers as the face of Cintas.
• Ensure quality standards and proactively resolve customer concerns.
• Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling products and services.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory.
• Work professionally and safely.
• Comply with driving and vehicle regulations.
• Drive an established route and deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service products.
