Route Service Representative (4-Day Workweek)
About The Position
Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. The role follows an established route, servicing and selling to an existing customer base. It is a physical, fast-paced indoor/outdoor position involving delivery and pickup of uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service products. The position includes a comprehensive 10-week training program, a base salary with commission potential after assignment to a route, and monthly or quarterly performance bonuses and incentives. Most partners work a four-day workweek and do not work nights or weekends. The role offers advancement opportunities, ongoing training, mentoring, and the opportunity to develop business skills.
Requirements
- Meet all Department of Transportation requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
- Have an active driver's license before the first day of employment.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Obtain a DOT medical certification before the first day of employment.
- Provide documentation regarding previous employment before the first day of employment.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or military service.
- Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
- Be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment to meet goals.
- Have a positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with customers and their key decision makers as the face of Cintas.
- Ensure quality standards and proactively resolve customer concerns.
- Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory.
- Work professionally and safely.
- Comply with driving and vehicle regulations.
- Drive an established route and deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other facility service products.
