About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a part-time Route Merchandiser for its Vancouver, Washington market. The role services stores in Vancouver and Longview, Washington, and Portland, Troutdale, and Wood Village, Oregon. Travel to all locations on the assigned route is essential. The position is approximately 25–30 hours per week, with starting pay of $17.00–$19.00 per hour. Route Merchandisers help maintain store shelves, organize products, and present displays so customers can find what they need. The work includes completing planograms, product resets, and seasonal sets; installing promotional materials and fixtures; replenishing merchandise; and reporting completed work and project findings. The role is fast-paced and physically active, and requires working independently while communicating with store teams and SRS management. Signature Retail Services provides merchandising, construction, and fixture installation solutions for home improvement organizations including The Home Depot, Lowe's, and Ace Hardware. Employment is contingent upon applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background checks, motor vehicle record reviews, and employment eligibility verification.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle for travel, and proof of active auto insurance.
Have a personal smartphone with call, text, email, and internet access for daily reporting.
Be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently to complete store visits on schedule.
Be comfortable using technology and mobile apps to complete daily work tasks and reporting.
Be detail-oriented and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to perform physical tasks that may involve prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending and climbing ladders or rolling stairs; and lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Previous merchandising experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Carry out planograms, product resets, and seasonal sets according to client standards.
Install price labels, promotional materials, fixtures, and product displays.
Down-stock merchandise, replenish shelves, and keep displays organized and ready for customers.
Complete in-store survey audits to report completed work and project findings.
Serve as a product expert for store associates and customers.
Communicate regularly with store teams and SRS management so projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Identify and promptly report inventory issues, project concerns, or challenges to SRS management.
