About The Position

The Field Service Representative (FSR) supports a GE Aerospace Edison Works next-generation military propulsion program. The position begins with approximately one year of on-site training at GE Aerospace headquarters in Evendale, Ohio, where the FSR develops expertise in propulsion system design, maintenance, sustainment, support equipment, and technical manuals through hands-on training, engine-assembly shadowing, and collaboration with engineering, product support, and assembly teams. The FSR also participates in Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities and supports development of customer maintenance training plans. After completing required training and security requirements, the FSR relocates to a customer site and serves as the on-site technical expert for propulsion system maintenance and sustainment. The role is a key interface between GE Aerospace and the customer, supporting maintenance execution, sustainment planning, and readiness outcomes. The position works with Maintainability, Reliability, Safety, Supportability, and Human Factors engineering teams, and requires full-time on-site work during the initial training period, subsequent relocation to a customer site, and an estimated 20–40% travel.
