About The Position

Signature Retail Services is hiring a part-time Route Merchandiser serving Vancouver and Longview, Washington, and Portland, Troutdale, and Wood Village, Oregon. The role involves driving to stores across the assigned route and merchandising products for leading home improvement retailers. The position is approximately 25–30 hours per week, with starting pay of $17.00–$19.00 per hour. The Route Merchandiser helps keep shelves stocked, products organized, and displays ready for customers. The work includes building displays, setting seasonal products, completing store projects to client standards, and reporting work and findings. This is a fast-paced, physically active position requiring prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending and ladder or rolling-stair climbing, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role requires independent travel between assigned stores using a reliable personal vehicle. Employment is contingent upon applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include background checks, motor vehicle record reviews, employment eligibility verification, and other position-specific screenings, as permitted by law.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Have a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle for travel, and proof of active auto insurance.
Have a personal smartphone with call, text, email, and internet access for daily reporting.
Be dependable and self-motivated, and work comfortably independently to complete store visits on schedule.
Be highly comfortable using technology and mobile apps for daily work tasks and reporting.
Be detail-oriented and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to perform physical tasks that may involve prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending and climbing ladders or rolling stairs; and lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Previous merchandising experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Carry out planograms, product resets, and seasonal sets according to client standards.
Install price labels, promotional materials, fixtures, and product displays.
Down-stock merchandise, replenish shelves, and keep displays organized and ready for customers.
Complete in-store survey audits to report completed work and project findings.
Serve as a product expert for store associates and customers.
Communicate regularly with store teams and SRS management to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
Identify and promptly report inventory issues, project concerns, or challenges to SRS management.
