About The Position

The Room Service Server delivers dining experiences to guests in their rooms by receiving, preparing, and delivering food and beverage orders in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. The role includes accurately processing orders, coordinating with kitchen staff, presenting food professionally, and responding promptly to guests’ needs and concerns. It also involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, assisting with supplies and inventory, and participating in team meetings and training. Duties may change or be added at any time.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Responsibilities

Accurately take and process food and beverage orders from guests by phone or in person.
Enter orders into the point-of-sale system and communicate them to kitchen staff.
Transport food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly.
Present orders professionally, ensuring appropriate presentation and temperature.
Set up tables and chairs in guest rooms as needed.
Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner and address their needs and concerns promptly.
Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
Resolve guest issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Clean and sanitize guest rooms after service.
Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Receive, prepare, and deliver items to guestrooms in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
