About The Position

The In Room Dining Server provides guest service by delivering food and beverage experiences that are memorable and distinctive. The role includes setting tables, communicating with the kitchen, interacting with and serving guests, and cleaning work areas and supplies. The server takes initiative to make transactions feel like part of the guest experience. The position requires following company policies and procedures, maintaining quality and safety standards, and presenting a professional uniform, appearance, and communication style. Work involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking; moving across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces; reading and visually verifying menu information; and performing hands-on tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
Less than 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
No supervisory experience is required.
No license or certification is required.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
Ability to read and visually verify information on menus.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
