ROOM ATTENDANT - ROOMS
About The Position
SpringHill Suites Corona is seeking experienced Room Attendants to clean guest rooms and respond to guest requests, helping deliver outstanding guest service and satisfaction. As part of the property team, the Room Attendant contributes to a positive workplace and guest experience. The role includes cleaning guest suites and other hotel areas, maintaining cleanliness and supplies, responding to guest needs, and reporting repairs. Associates are expected to wear the proper uniform and nametag in accordance with appearance standards and perform other duties as assigned that they are capable of doing.
Requirements
- One year of previous hotel housekeeping experience requested.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest suites, including bathrooms, changing bed linen daily or according to hotel policy, dusting, vacuuming, and completing other daily special projects.
- Maintain housekeeping compliance in the Guest Satisfaction Scores program.
- Respond to guests’ special needs and requests.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
- Unload trash from housekeeping carts.
- Stock linen and supplies in linen rooms or housekeeping carts.
- Unload soiled linen from carts and transport it to the laundry.
- Report needed repairs to maintenance.
- Clean restrooms, public spaces, and food service areas.
- Sweep, wax, and dispose of refuse.
- Maintain the cleanliness of swimming pool and exercise areas.
- Clean windows and mirrors in the hotel.
- Wear the proper uniform and nametag on the right side of the uniform in accordance with appearance standards.
- Perform other assigned duties that the associate is capable of performing.
