About The Position

The Roofing Installation Manager leads residential roofing and exterior construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. The role oversees job-site safety, installation quality, scheduling coordination, subcontractor performance, and customer satisfaction, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring effective communication with customers and crews and the ability to deliver strong project outcomes. The manager coordinates schedules, materials, subcontractors, equipment, and permits; serves as the primary customer contact throughout each project; conducts job-site inspections; manages project documentation, change orders, and closeout; and resolves challenges while maintaining timelines and operational efficiency. The position manages multiple active projects across surrounding New England territory, with a home base in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Success is measured by safety and job-site compliance, installation quality and reduced warranty callbacks, on-time completion, customer satisfaction, and successful project closeout. Compensation is listed at $80,000, with negotiation based on relevant experience and performance-based bonus opportunities. The role is full-time, exempt, and salaried.

Requirements

At least five years of experience in the construction industry, with demonstrated expertise in roofing and siding installations.
Experience in residential roofing is required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle while maintaining insurability under the Company’s Commercial Auto Policy.
Ability to travel throughout New England.
Ability to read, interpret, and execute project documents, specifications, and installation drawings.
Proficiency with CRM systems such as ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Oversee residential roofing and exterior installation projects from pre-construction through final completion.
Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, equipment, and permits to ensure projects are installation-ready.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, provide updates, and resolve issues.
Conduct job-site inspections to ensure installation quality, safety compliance, and adherence to company and manufacturer standards.
Lead subcontractors and crews to maintain productivity, workmanship quality, and professional job-site standards.
Manage change orders, project documentation, and project closeout activities, including final walkthroughs and customer reviews.
Identify and resolve project challenges quickly to maintain timelines, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Maintain safe and organized job sites in compliance with company policies and applicable safety regulations.
Manage multiple active projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication and attention to detail.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
