About The Position

The Roll Shop Utility rebuilds and repairs mill stand guides and supports continuous improvement efforts to make them last longer, work better, and be more cost effective. The successful candidate also assists with stand building and roll turning and may be expected to work in a production environment when required. The role may require work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Prior roll shop experience.
